A 26-story, mixed-use tower development, set for the South Street Sea Port District in Manhattan. The development will feature market rate and affordable housing, Class-A office space, ground-floor retail space, 1,176 square feet of community facility space, and an enclosed parking garage. As a compromise, a $50 million endowment will be given to the South Street Seaport Museum. A new building will also be built for the museum at 89th South Street. The development was first designed as a larger two-tower project, but faced major backlash from the local community, and later had to be scaled down.
